Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

A woman reported to police at 10:17 p.m. Monday that her purse, containing a wallet and checkbook, were stolen from her unlocked vehicle on Brittany Place.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

At 10:03 a.m. Monday, police received a report of a broken rear window on a 1992 Ford Explorer parked along the 4000 block of North Douglas Highway.

Vehicle accidents:

A 17-year-old female driver was cited for failure to stop after a two-car accident at 9 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Mendenhall Loop and Mendenhall Mall roads. A Subaru Legacy struck a Subaru hatchback. There were minor injuries. The Legacy sustained $2,000 damage; the hatchback was totaled.

Other:

At 4:17 p.m. Monday, a caller told police she had lost a ring along W. 9th St. on Dec. 14 at about 4:30 p.m. The ring was described as a woman's gold band and setting, with pearls and green and white stones.
