Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a man, 29, on a domestic violence assault charge at 1:42 a.m. Wednesday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Motor vehicle accidents:

• At 2:07 p.m. Tuesday, a 1991 Honda and a 1994 Ford sustained minimal damage in an accident on Gastineau Avenue downtown. No injuries were reported.

• A woman reported at 3 p.m. Tuesday her vehicle was struck by a white truck on Behrends Avenue downtown. No injuries were reported.

• Two vehicles were reported totaled and both drivers were treated for injuries after an accident at 7:31 a.m. Wednesday on inbound Egan Drive at Yandukin Drive. A 1995 Ford reportedly struck a 2001 Dodge, turning off Egan across traffic. Police cited the woman, 40, who was driving the Dodge, on a charge of failing to yield on a left turn.

Hit and run:

• A woman reported at 4:21 p.m. Tuesday her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked near Glacier Highway. No damage estimate was available.

Theft:

• At 2:23 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported a Japanese sword and a diamond ring were taken on Oct. 24 from her Decoy Boulevard residence in the Mendenhall Valley.

• A man reported the theft of a Yamaha saxophone at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday near Mendenhall Loop Road. The saxophone was valued at $1,386.

• A woman reported at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday the theft of a brown mouton short fur coat between Dec. 2 and 4. The coat was valued at $150.

• A man reported the theft of about 175 gallons of heating oil at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday near Stephen Richards Memorial Highway in the Mendenhall Valley.

Vehicle rifling:

• A man reported at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday that during the previous night two vehicles were rifled outside his Mountain Avenue residence in the Lemon Creek area. Nothing was reported taken.

Vandalism:

• A man reported at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday that cords for a surveillance camera were damaged sometime overnight in the South Franklin Street area. Damage was estimated at $100.
