JUNEAU - Juneau-Douglas High School seniors Chris Hinkley and Kanaan Bausler were inducted into the Crimson Bears' athletic hall of fame last week at the team's annual banquet.
The duo were voted into the hall by their varsity teammates.
Hinkley and Bausler were instrumental in Juneau-Douglas' run to the team's first state championship in 2005 and state semifinal appearance in 2006.
Hinkley, a quarterback, set single-season passing records in 2005 and served as offensive captain.
Bausler, a safety, was the Crimson Bears' defensive captain last season.

Their plaques will be displayed in a school hallway and their names will appear in subsequent programs.
The hall of fame was established in 1990.
