• At about 12:55 a.m., police responded to a burglary alarm in the 200 block of Seward Street.

Found property:

• A bicycle was turned in to police that was found in the 3500 block of Tongass Boulevard.


• At about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, a black AT&T cell phone valued at $450 was reported stolen in the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, a 39-year-old woman reported a stolen television valued at $898 in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At about 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, a 16-year-old girl reported a silver iPod was stolen in the 9200 block of Hurlock Avenue.


• At about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, unrepairable damage to a tombstone was reported in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Vehicle accidents:

• At about 12:43 p.m. Tuesday, someone reported a 1989 Ford Taurus struck a 1989 Toyota in the 400 block of Gastineau Avenue.

• At about 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, a 49-year-old man reported a vehicular collision and possible assault on Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a blue Volkswagen and a blue Mazda on Whittier Street. Damage to the Mazda was $700. Damage to the Volkswagen is unknown. No one was injured.
