Quotes to ponder

Letter to the editor

Within the hallways of Juneau-Douglas High School and elsewhere many people will be hearing and seeing quotes brought to them by the CDC class (Conflict, Diversity and Communication). The class teaches the importance of understanding, analyzing and helping to solve problems through these methods.

A group of students within the class are working on a service project entitled Promote-A-Quote. As a group we have picked quotes to remote bi-weekly. These quotes are made to inspire, motivate and encourage those that read them to sit back and take the time to reflect. As we enter this holiday season, we encourage everyone to take part in Promote-A-Quote. This week's quote is: "Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks about changing themselves." Joon Randolph states a true fact that before we can think globally that we must think locally. Thank you for taking part in and supporting Promote-A-Quote.
