Stain of Exxon Valdez

Cordova environmentalist Riki Ott warns of lingering health effects from the millions of gallons of crude oil spilled from the tanker Exxon Valdez in 1989 into Prince William Sound.

"Oil is much more toxic to people and the environment than previously thought," she writes in "Sound Truth and Corporate Myth$: The Legacy of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill."
