Keep the fast ferries going next year

The Department of Transportation apparently will not provide fast ferry service between Juneau, Haines and Skagway next spring and summer. This is not in the best interest of those who have come to expect and depend on these routes for transportation needs. It also means another huge group of changes will occur in the Alaska Marine Highway schedule for 2008.

We could use some continuity and dependability from both our ferries and those who manage the schedules for them. Keep the fast ferry routes in Lynn Canal.
