Driving while intoxicated:
Shortly after 1 a.m. today, George Eavey, 33, was arrested for felony drunken driving on 12th Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Thefts, lost and found items:
Shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, a man, 26, reported losing his brown tri-fold wallet at the Alaskan Hotel. The wallet contained miscellaneous credit cards and $500 cash.
Capital City Fire & Rescue responded at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday to an alarm at Merchants Wharf. It turned out to be a false alarm, firefighters said.
At 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Glacier Highway. A boy, 16, operating a 1994 Honda Accord and a woman, 49, operating a 1992 Ford Explorer, were involved in the collision. The Honda suffered $800 damage. The Ford suffered $2,500 damage. The 16-year-old was cited for careless driving.
About 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, police received a complaint of a large bear in the trash on the porch of a trailer on Mendenhall Loop Road.

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for 16 vehicle vandalisms reported to the Juneau Police Department from Tee Harbor residents on Dec. 9. Many of the vehicles had their contents removed. Cumulative damages were estimated to be in excess of $6,000.
Also, in the early morning hours of Dec. 11, several vehicles were rifled and vandalized along Thane Road. One vehicle may have been set afire and was extensively damaged.
