On Tuesday, the Empire reported an Oregon man has been charged with attempted murder, first-degree robbery and third-degree assault following an attack on a Craig diver. The story was based on the Alaska State Troopers Web site, which stated: "Investigation is continuing into charges of attempted murder, Robbery I and Assault III." As of midday today, no charges had been filed against the Oregon man.

In a story on Page 1 of Sunday's paper, the number of people in Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority's rental assistance program was misstated. There are 750 people in subsidized housing programs other than the loan program spoken of, some of whom are in subsidized apartments and most of whom are in home-ownership programs. To clarify another point in the story, Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority shows homes to people in its loan programs only from its inventory of homes.
