Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Assaults:
A man, 32, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Thefts:
A green briefcase containing a blue Nokia cell phone and a wallet were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 4 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway.
A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 5:45 p.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Mall Road. The purse was recovered, but $20 in cash was missing.
$5 in change and a blue gym bag containing gear were reported stolen from a parked vehicle at 6 p.m. Thursday near Fourth Street downtown.
Underage drinking:
A woman, 19, was cited for underage drinking at 6:30 p.m. Thursday near Kanat'a Street. She was taken home.
Vehicle accidents:
At 9 a.m. Thursday near West Eighth Street a 1989 Ford pickup driven by a man, 66, slid into an unoccupied 1991 Nissan. There was minor damage.
At 10:15 a.m. Thursday near Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill Road a 1999 Subaru driven by a man, 18, was struck by a 1989 Ford Escort driven by a man, 49, after the Subaru cut in front. Damage was minimal. The 18-year-old was cited for unsafe passing.
At 7:15 p.m. Thursday on Egan Drive a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by a boy, 15, struck a 1998 Honda Civic driven by a man, 52. The boy was cited for driving too fast for road conditions.
Other:
A man, 33, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway for criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He was taken to the state prison.
