Shocked over Cascade Point talks

Along with the rest of the community, I was shocked to learn about the city-facilitated negotiations that secretly took away Goldbelt's property rights at Cascade Point. I was further shocked to find out that thousands of our Alaska Native citizens were not even part of the negotiations.

I sincerely hope that the Juneau Empire will devote the resources to investigate and report on the facts to the public. Right now the media is strangely silent on an important issue regarding civil rights and the integrity of our elected officials.
