MOVIES

"Castaway," (PG-13) starts Friday and shows nightly at 7:20 at the 20th Century Twin, with matinees at 2:20 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

"Unbreakable," (PG-13) ends tonight, last show at 7 at the 20th Century Twin.

"Proof of Life," (R) ends tonight, last show at 6:50 at Glacier Cinemas.

"Bounce," (PG-13) ends tonight, last show at 7:10 at Glacier Cinemas.

"Miss Congeniality," (PG-13) starts Friday and shows nightly at 7:10 at Glacier Cinemas, with second shows Friday and Saturday at 9:20, and matinees at 2:10 and 4:20 Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

"The Family Man," (PG-13) starts Friday and shows nightly at 7 at Glacier Cinemas, with second shows Friday and Saturday at 9:30, and matinees at 2 and 4:30 Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

"What Women Want," (PG-13) shows tonight at 7 at Glacier Cinemas, switching to 6:40 nightly beginning Friday, with second shows Friday and Saturday at 9:10, and matinees at 1:40 and 4:10 Saturday and Sunday.

"The Emperor's New Groove," (G) shows nightly at 6:30 at Glacier Cinemas, with second shows Friday and Saturday at 8:30, and matinees at 1:30 and 3:40 Saturday and Sunday.

"Vertical Limit," (PG-13) shows nightly at 7:10 at 20th Century Twin, with second shows Friday and Saturday at 9:35, and matinees at 2:10 and 4:35 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

THEATER

"Greater Tuna," is held over and will show next weekend, but not this wekend. Shows at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 29 and 30, at the Palace Theatre. Tickets $12 at Hearthside Books and the door. Comedic two-man show, produced by Aside Theatre Group.

SPECIAL EVENTS

"The Return of the Grumpsicle," 7 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Saturday, JuneauDouglas High School auditorium, $7, a Janice D. Holst Production.

CONCERTS

J. Allan MacKinnon plays holiday and Christmas music on the Kimball Theatre Organ, noon Friday at the State Office Building.

DANCE

The Second Annual Juneau-Douglas High School Art Show, Juneau-Douglas City Museum, open Friday and Saturday afternoons. Range of works by 10 students.
