Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 35, was placed under citizen's arrest for assault at Valley Boulevard. Alcohol was involved. The suspect was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts, lost and found property:

About 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 32, reported losing his silver watch somewhere downtown.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday, a woman, 50, reported the theft of a package that had been delivered to her residence on Ridge Way.

About 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report of a box of insulin and a box of medical supplies stolen from the Juneau Airport.

Drugs:

On Tuesday, members of the Southeast Alaska Narcotics Enforcement Team (SEANET) and the Juneau Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Back Loop Road. They arrested a woman, 26, and a man, 24, both of Juneau. Evidence of methamphetamine production and distribution were found. The suspects were both charged with reckless endangerment, second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, according to Cathy Turner of SEANET. The suspects were transported to state prison. Investigation is continuing.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

About 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 35, reported vandalism to his vehicle on Glacier Highway near Williams Express. While he was driving, the windshield was broken by an object. Officers were unable to locate the source of the object.

Shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, a woman, 37, reported her 1996 Silver GMC vandalized while she was driving on Glacier Highway near Williams Express. The right front passenger window was broken by an object.

Vehicle accidents:

Shortly after noon Wednesday, police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Glacier Highway. The collision involved a Ford van operated by a man, 26, and a Ford Escort operated by a woman, 44. The van was undamaged. The Escort sustained $2,500 damage. No one was injured.

Animal encounters:

About 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report of two bears getting into garbage at a trailer court in the Mendenhall Valley.
