Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


At 9:51 p.m. Thursday, a 25-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, harassment and resisting arrest on South Franklin Street. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


At 1:17 p.m. Thursday, a 46-year-old woman reported the theft of several Christmas gifts from her unlocked 1991 Nissan station wagon while it was parked at Fred Meyer. The value of the gifts was $260.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

At 10:18 p.m. Thursday, a woman reported her 1984 Ford Bronco was struck by a snowball that cracked her windshield and broke a windshield wiper on Back Loop Road near Mendenhall River School. Two juveniles were seen running from the area.

Vehicle accidents:

At 9:56 a.m. Thursday, the city streets department reported a collision between a city snowplow driven by a 56-year-old man and a 1990 Chevrolet Lumina operated by a 27-year-old woman on University Drive. The Lumina sustained $75 damage to a tire.

At 4:26 p.m. Thursday, a 1998 Volkswagen driven by a 53-year-old woman struck a parked 1987 Chrysler on Lawson Creek Road in Douglas. Damage to either vehicle could not be determined due to darkness and snow coverage. Both parties exchanged insurance information.

At 6:41 p.m. Thursday, a 1990 Mazda driven by a 17-year-old girl rear-ended a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by a 34-year-old woman at Douglas Highway and Vista Drive. The Toyota sustained about $6,000 damage, and the Mazda sustained about $1,000 damage.

At 7:27 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a minor accident in the Nugget Mall parking lot.

At 10:32 p.m. Thursday, a 2000 Chevrolet pickup driven by a 20-year-old man struck a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 45-year-old woman. The truck sustained about $4,000 damage and the Jeep about $3,000 damage. The man was found to be at fault.

Hit-and-run incidents:

At 7:23 p.m. Thursday, a 64-year-old man reported his vehicle was struck Sunday between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. while parked on Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $500 to $1,000.


At 7:13 p.m. Thursday, a 28-year-old man was arrested on Churchill Way for outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court for an arraignment hearing and failure to comply with probation conditions, He was lodged at the state prison.
