...for all your help
Mendenhall River Community School PTO would like to thank the following people and businesses that helped us with two fund-raising events we hosted this December. On Tuesday, Dec. 11, we held a Dessert Auction to raise money for our school library. Lady Jane Mulready helped us auction off a beautiful array of desserts donated by MRCS parents, teachers and area restaurants. We would like to thank all of those individuals and businesses that participated in this event including: Jane Mulready, for both her auctioneering and baking talents, The Silverbow Bakery and Restaurant, The Hangar on the Wharf, The Breakwater Inn Restaurant, Vintage Fare Cafe, The Fiddlehead Restaurant, Nancy Barto, Lisa Golisek, Marcia Ballard, Raandi Miller, Chuck and Karen MacDonald, Lisa Currier, Lisa McDowell, Amberly Lail, Michelle Locks, Jerry Nankervis, Brenda Dominguez, Lynetta Siska, Adrienne Atadero, Toni Tajon, Joan Roberts, Therese Jones, Heidi Stears, Diane Wilder, Penni Harris, Wendy Dalton, and all of the families who participated in the auction by bidding on desserts or giving donations. Their generosity helped us raise over $875, which will allow our library to purchase a much-needed bookcase, new fiction books, and to host a visiting author.
Also many thanks to the following people who helped out with the Santa's Craft Workshop on December 15: Nancy Barto, Carey Akagi, Lisa Golisek, Sydney Akagi, Renee Holmes, Diane Wilder, Brenda Dominguez, Mireya Cordero, Amberly Lail, Chris Norvel, Janet Parker and especially Santa and Mrs. Claus. Everyone who participated in this festive event had a great time and the children were able to make and wrap some pretty terrific presents for their family and friends.
