JUNEAU - Juneau Dance Unlimited is registering students for the winter/spring 2008 semester classes. The class schedule and registration forms are available at

The semester begins Jan. 7 and runs through May 24.

The dance studio offers a wide variety of classes for all ages, 3 years old through adult, and all levels of ability. Classes include ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, pilates, studies in movement, and creative movement.

The new studio is conveniently located at 8420 Airport Blvd, Suite 202, and provides a bright, spacious and professional environment for dance students. Class registrations can be faxed or mailed to the office.

Juneau Dance Unlimited is nonprofit organization providing the Juneau community with dance instruction and performance opportunities throughout the year. The dance studio celebrates its 32nd anniversary this year. For further information, please call the studio office at 463-5327.

Employee Wellness Coalition meets Jan. 9

JUNEAU - The Juneau Employee Wellness Coalition will host its monthly brown-bag lunch meeting from noon to 1 p.m. on Jan. 9, at Conference Room B of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Juneau Medical Center, 3245 Hospital Drive. Conference Room B is downstairs in the main clinic building.

This is the first meeting of the group since November's Working Well in Alaska employee wellness training. The monthly meetings are free and open to the public, including organizations that weren't able to participate in Working Well in Alaska.

Suicide Loss Support Group to meet Dec. 26

JUNEAU - Hospice and Home Care of Juneau's Suicide Loss Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Juneau Public Health Center, 3412 Glacier Highway.

The building is across from the Twin Lakes parking lot. Enter and park on the lower level, on the right side of the driveway.
