PALMER - The Matanuska-Susitna school board may want a rematch.
In October, voters narrowly rejected a package of bonds that would have been used to replace roofs, carpets and fire alarms at a number of schools.
Some board members want to return the issue to voters for a second try. Only this time, they want to also include money for a turf field at Palmer High School.
The board will decide whether to pursue another election at its Jan. 6 meeting.
