Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Channing Emanuel, 37, on a charge of drunken driving at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday on Egan Drive near Jordan Creek. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• Police cited a man, 44, on a harassment charge at 3:03 a.m. Wednesday after responding to a report of an assault in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.


• At 3:19 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported that a package delivered two weeks ago to his residence in the 300 block of West Ninth Street was stolen from his porch.

• A lighted wire Christmas tree was reported stolen at 4:06 p.m. Tuesday from a yard in the 9400 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• A plastic Santa Claus was reported stolen at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday from a front yard in the 4400 block of Mint Way in the Mendenhall Valley.

• A plastic lighted plastic snowman was reported stolen at 7:19 a.m. Wednesday from the front of a residence in the 4400 block of Eyelet Court in the Valley.

• Police arrested a man, 18, on a shoplifting charge at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. He was lodged at the state prison.

• A holiday picture projector was reported stolen at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday from a yard in the 8800 block of Duran Street in the Valley.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 2001 Mazda sedan, driven by a woman, 29, and a 2002 Ford pickup, driven by a man, 63, were involved in an accident at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of West Willoughby Avenue. Damage was estimated at $100 to the Mazda and $1,000 to the Ford.

• A child, age unspecified, was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation after a traffic accident at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mendenhall Loop Road and Valley Boulevard. A Geo, driven by a man, 35, reportedly struck a Mazda. Police cited the driver of the Geo on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic.

Hit and run:

• At 12:43 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported her 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier was struck sometime during the previous night by an unknown vehicle in the 8900 block of Nancy Street in the Valley.

• At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported her 2000 Subaru was hit by a vehicle that left the scene in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

• At 3:22 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported his 1990 Toyota pickup was hit by a vehicle that left the scene in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway near Yandukin Drive.

• At 10:44 a.m. Wednesday, a woman reported that her 2004 Ford was damaged by an unknown vehicle somewhere in the Juneau area.

Traffic stops:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday in the 5400 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a man, 41, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

• Police impounded a vehicle at 12:39 a.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Postal Way in the Valley after citing the driver, a boy, 15, on charges of driving without a license and having an open container.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police cited a woman, 24, on a charge of disturbing the peace at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area. Officers were there to respond to a noise complaint. From the same call, police arrested a man, 25, on a warrant charging him with failing to comply with the conditions of his probation. Police lodged him at the state prison.
