LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Trojans swimming and diving squad rounded out action at the Delta State Christmas Invitational Monday evening after competing in the event for the last three days.

UALR finished in sixth place of six teams in the event, but managed to set many personal bests on the year and broke a school record in the process.

Freshman Amber Kelly had the highlight of the trip as she set a new school record in the 100-yard butterfly on Saturday evening. The Juneau, Alaska, native finished the race with a time of 58.45, which broke Burcu Bozcali's mark of 59.24, set in 1996. In addition, Kelly earned 13 points for her team and finished sixth in the race.

Kelly was a part of three straight JDHS girls' swimming state champion teams.
