Parks and Recreation hike/ski/snowshoe, 9:30 a.m., 28.4 mile Glacier Highway. Wear waterproof hiking or rubber boots, warm layers of clothing, and bring food and water. Destination depends on weather conditions.

Dance Workshop lead by Anthony Manuel begins today, runs through Dec. 30. Low intermediate level: 4:30-6 p.m.; high intermediate level: 6:30-8 p.m. Juneau Dance Unlimited Studio, corner of 4th and Seward.

Gastineau Moonlight Climb starts at 5 p.m., location to be announced. Technical gear required includes snowshoes and a head lamp. This is a medium-energy hike which lasts three to four hours. Trip leader, Bill Forrest, 789-3008.
