Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Shannon Lane Fender, 31, was arrested for drunken driving at 7:15 a.m. Sunday near Fritz Cove Road. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thomas Everett Gardner, 40, was arrested at 11 a.m. Sunday near Douglas Highway for drunken driving, refusing a breath test and reckless endangerment. He was lodged at the state prison.


A woman reported at 10:15 a.m. Saturday from Mendenhall Loop Road that all of her children's Christmas gifts were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The gifts are valued at $375.

At 5 p.m. Saturday at Eaglecrest Ski Area a snowboard was reported stolen. It is a Burton Balance, blue with orange designs.

At 11 p.m. Sunday near Mendenhall Loop Road a woman reported that her snowboard and bindings were stolen from her porch.


A man, 19, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. today at the Marine Park Garage for sixth-degree drug misconduct. He was released.

Vehicle accidents:

A woman, 43, was cited for failing to yield at 2:45 p.m. Saturday near Vintage and Riverside. Her 1993 Ford LL struck a Ford pickup driven by a man, 54. There was $2,000 damage to both vehicles.

A Datsun station wagon driven by a woman, 33, ran into a cable from a tow truck at 3:45 p.m. Saturday near O'Day Drive. Her vehicle had $2,000 damage.


A man, 28, was placed under citizen's arrest for disorderly conduct at 8:30 p.m. Sunday near Haloff Way. He was lodged at the state prison.
