Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while Intoxicated:
Michael Milligan, 36, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. today near John Street for drunken driving and refusing a breath test. His vehicle struck two vehicles.
Thefts:
About $390 in cash was reported stolen from a purse at 8:15 a.m. Monday near Hospital Drive.
A red Jansport Bridger 40 backpack, containing books worth about $250, was reported stolen from a truck bed at 12:45 p.m. Monday in Juneau.
Vehicle accidents:
A woman, 60, was cited for failure to yield at 4:45 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway. Her 1991 Mazda pickup struck a 2000 Chevy Astro van driven by a man, 34. The Chevy had $2,500 damage.
A Ford truck driven by a man, 48, was struck by an Oldsmobile driven by a woman, 61, near Lemon Creek at 4:51 p.m. Monday. Both vehicles were totaled. The woman was cited for negligent driving. One person was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation.
Hit-and-run incidents:
A 2002 Chevy pickup was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 9 a.m. Monday near Glacier Highway. The pickup had $1,500 damage.
Other:
At 8:15 a.m. Monday near Glacier Highway and Twin Lakes a man, 33, was cited for driving without a valid license. He was released and the vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver.
