Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Police arrested Norman Lott, 20, on a charge of drunken driving at 12:36 a.m. Tuesday on Mendenhall Loop Road and Grant Street. Police also charged him with underage drinking and driving with a suspended license. They took him to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Motor vehicle accidents:
Police cited a woman, 52, on charges of careless driving, driving without a license and failure to provide valid insurance at 6:20 p.m. Monday after the car she was driving rear-ended a 1999 Plymouth Neon. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
Hit and run:
A man reported at 2:05 p.m. Monday an unknown vehicle struck his Dodge Dakota sometime the previous night in the area of Mendenhall Mall Road. No damage estimate was available.
A man reported at 3:12 p.m. Monday an unknown vehicle struck his 1995 Ford Aerostar in the area of Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Theft:
A woman reported at 1:13 p.m. Monday that 70 compact discs in a black case were stolen out of her unlocked BMW at about 7 p.m. Sunday in the area of Willoughby Avenue downtown.
A woman reported at 7:19 p.m. Monday her black backpack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle near Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area. The backpack, with a right shoulder strap, contained various personal paperwork, cards and keys.
A man reported at 1:54 a.m. Tuesday several CDs, and a bottle of glass repair glue were stolen from his Subaru Legacy between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday near the Sealaska Plaza.
A man reported at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday a trampoline was stolen sometime before Dec. 5 from his yard near O'Day Drive in the area of the airport.
Vandalism:
A woman reported at 6:13 p.m. Monday a rock was thrown through the window of her Amalga Street home.
A man reported vandalism to the window of his trailer at 11:06 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.
Traffic stop:
Police cited a man, 37, on a charge of driving without a license at 4:36 p.m. Monday on West 9th Street downtown.
Found property:
A woman reported at 2:55 p.m. Monday she found a purple and black Rand bicycle in the Glacier Highway area.
Lost property:
A woman reported losing a floral-patterned canvas suitcase at 7:57 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway. The suitcase was valued at $500.
Crime Line:
Police received a report on Dec. 9 that Landscape Alaska had been broken into.
Two hand picks were stolen from the business. They had an estimated value of $50. Damage to the building was estimated at $100. Damage to a vehicle parked next to the building was estimated at $2,000.
