Recent births at Bartlett Regional Hospital:

• On Dec. 13, 2004, a daughter, Stasha Marie Guthrie, weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces, to Tia Marie Bagoyo of Juneau.

• On Dec. 14, 2004, a daughter, Kiara Ann King, weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces, to Shontay Shakeea King and Moses Junior King, both of Juneau.

Indictments:

• Robert L. Harris Jr., 32, was indicted by a grand jury on two felony counts felony third-degree assault, stemming from alleged actions of Nov. 7, 2003. In July, Harris was indicted on charges of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of second-degree assault in the same case.

• Shannon M. Renton, 23, was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of third-degree assault, stemming from alleged actions of Nov. 7, 2003. In July Renton was indicted on charges of first-degree endangering of a child and second-degree assault in the same case.

• Marc A. Maki, 22, was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of second-degree assault, stemming from a Dec. 12 incident.

• Dennis A. Tyson, 40, was indicted by a grand jury on felony charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and refusing to submit to a chemical test, stemming from a Dec. 8 incident.

• Duane M. Evans, 52, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, stemming from a Dec. 3 incident.

• Rex H. Elliott, 57, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, stemming from a Dec. 14 incident.

• David R. Ripley, 34, was indicted by a grand jury on three counts of felony third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, from alleged Aug. 27 activities involving cocaine.

Judgments:

• Charles Abbott, 25, was found guilty of second-degree theft and fourth-degree assault, stemming from activities of July 17. Juneau Superior Court Judge Larry Weeks imposed three years and six months to serve in jail - including five years with two years suspended for the theft charge and an additional one year with six months suspended on the assault charge. Weeks also placed him on probation for five years.

• Peter Riggs, 23, was found guilty of second-degree theft and fourth-degree assault, stemming from activities of July 17. Weeks imposed three years and six months to serve in jail - including five years with two years suspended on the theft charge and one year with six months suspended on the assault charge. Weeks also placed him on probation for five years.
