Drunken driving:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 10:45 p.m. Saturday, Rodney Johnson, 42, was arrested and charged with drunken driving on Tongass Boulevard. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle was impounded.


• At about 2 a.m. Sunday, a 25-year-old man was cited for allegedly being intoxicated on a licensed premises on South Franklin Street.


• At about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, a 34-year-old man reported his 8-foot inflatable Santa ornament was stolen in the 10100 block of Silver Street. The Santa was valued at $50. Meanwhile, a 3-foot plastic light-up drummer boy was left in his yard, the man reported.

Traffic accident:

• At about 3:10 p.m. Saturday, a 46-year-old woman driving a Ford truck collided with a Dodge driven by a 17-year-old girl on Crest Street. Damages were estimated at $3,000.
