Artist create mini golf putts with Alaska theme at culture center

JUNEAU - As a fundraising event for the Juneau Arts & Culture Center, local artists have created Alaska themed miniature golf holes set up at the center, to be available for public enjoyment from noon to 9 p.m. starting today until Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Golfers are invited to vote for their favorite hole, and the winning artist team will receive a gift certificate from the Island Pub.

The event is sponsored by Anchor Electric. Tickets are $5 per round, $50 for a party of up to 15, $25 for a party "bunker" and $100 per hour for a private party. For more information, visit www.jahc.org.
