A hockey player guards his goal and watches the game shrouded in fog Wednesday afternoon on Twin Lakes. Another game was scheduled for noon today. The ice has melted around the edges of the lake, particularly around inlets, said hockey player Marc Scholten. He recommended that children be accompanied by adults if they go on the ice. Much of the ice, however, is 9 to 12 inches thick, he said.
