Performances

Holiday music with tenor Mark Adams and organist Jill Mueller, noon Friday in the State Office Building atrium.

Dance concert with Sister ILive and fivepiece reggae band, 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Hangar Ballroom, tickets $10 in advance at Hearthside Books and the Hangar on the Wharf; $12 at the door.

New Year's Eve contra dance, 8 p.m. Monday night at Juneau Dance Unlimited Studio in Scottish Rite Temple, live music, dances called, no experience or partner needed.

Activities

Family Bead Circle with Salty Hanes, free ongoing gathering 4-5:30 p.m. every Saturday at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum. Families invited to bring beadwork or other handicrafts projects and spend creative time together. Call Salty at 463-3220 or museum at 586-3572 for more information.

"Found and Assembled in Alaska," art exhibit at the Alaska State Museum. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, $3 adults, 18 and under free.

George Provost solo photography exhibition and Sonya Kelliher-Combs solo multimedia exhibition, at the Alaska State Museum.

"Double Vision: Two Photographic Perspectives," photographs by Shar Fox and Katja Geldhof, Juneau Arts and Humanities Council gallery. Last weekend. Opening Jan. 4 is photography exhibit by David Job.

"Tell Me What You See: Poems and Paintings by Women," art exhibit at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum, hours noon-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, no admission charge.
