Jason Bigelow to wed Jennifer Lohmann
Jennifer Elizabeth Lohmann of New Orleans, La., and Jason Michael Bigelow of Juneau will be married in a ceremony planned for Dec. 28, 2002, at 6 p.m., at Rayhne Memorial United Methodist Church, new Orleans, La.
A reception will follow at the Columns Hotel, New Orleans, La.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. Thomas Philip Lohmann and Yvonne Elizabeth Lohmann. She is a graduate of Rice University, Houston, Texas, with a bachelor's degree in biology and anthropology and is currently a full-time student at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stumpf Gastrock and Mrs. Idas Western Lohmann and the late Mr. Lohmann.
The groom-elect is the son of Sandra Olivia Benzel of Juneau and Weston Craig Bigelow of Eugene, Ore. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and Rice University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering and political science. He is currently pursuing a juris doctorate in environmental law from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans. He is the grandson of Martha Jacobs Benzel, formerly of Juneau, and the late Clifford Benzel and Joyce Bigelow of Ferndale, Wash., and Charles Grizwold Bigelow of Anchorage.
The couple will honeymoon in Belize and will make their home in New Orleans.
