Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drug activity:
Police arrested at 17-year-old boy on charges of sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and violating his conditions of release on previous charges at 10:51 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Scott Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.
Theft:
A 21-speed bicycle was reported stolen at 3:38 p.m. Sunday on Amalga Street in the valley. The man reporting the theft called back later to say the bicycle was recovered.
Controls for a compact disc player were reported stolen at 10:19 a.m. Monday from an unlocked Chevrolet Lumina in the 5400 block of North Douglas Highway.
Vandalism:
Two tires were reported slashed on a 1990 Eagle at 11:45 a.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Behrends Avenue downtown.
Vehicle accidents:
About $2,000 in damage was reported to a 1996 Dodge Dakota at 3:27 p.m. Sunday after a Ford van, driven by a 71-year-old man reportedly backed into it in the 4100 block of Columbia Boulevard in the valley.
