A most appreciative thank you to the many individuals, families and organizations who provided support for the Gifting Program for the children of young parents at Yaakoosge Daakahidi Alternative High School.

Juneau's incredibly caring community provided gifts and financial contributions for 30 children whose parents are staying in school and working to earn their high school diplomas. Gifts of toys, clothing, books, puzzles and essentials provided a wonderful holiday for the young mothers and fathers who are daily balancing the demands of school, parenting and jobs.

Thank you to Sandy and Jose Colon, Julie Francis, Venetia Santana, Alicia Smith, Missy Highfill, Shayna Rohwer, Micaela Fowler, Susan Nachtigal, Mary Robidoux, Laury Scandling, Nikki Richert, Doreen Shaw, Amy Ruth, Assemblywoman Ruth Danner, Jeri Kissner, Margo Waring, Beth Franklin, Jeri Museth, Lisa Schoeppe, Dr. Jennifer Jozwiak, Julie Wilkens, Lauri Wilson, Cindy Britten, Love INC, Jenson, Yorba, Lott, city of Juneau Finance Department and Supervisory Unit, Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association, the Juneau Coast Guard Military Family Association and the Central Council Tlingit and Haida Indians Tribes of Alaska.
