Thefts, lost and found property:
A woman, 49, reported Tuesday that her business in Coffman Cove had been burglarized. About $1,000 cash and $7,000 in jewelry and other items were stolen. The Coffman Cove community has offered a reward. Information should be phoned to the Alaska State Troopers in Klawock at 755-2918. About the same time, the Coffman Cove City Hall was burglarized of $350 cash and other items.
Shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, a citizen found a black Magna boys' bicycle on Counterpane Lane.
About 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a woman, 25, reported losing or misplacing her cell phone at the checkout counter at Costco.
About 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, a citizen turned in to police for safekeeping a 35 millimeter zoom camera found at the Thane Ore House.
Shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday, a Juneau police officer responded to the report of a one-vehicle accident on Glacier Spur Road. The vehicle involved was a silver 1991 Ford Explorer. The driver, a man, 47, was cited for negligent driving. The vehicle sustained about $10,000 damage.
About 1 a.m. today, a girl, 17, reported that her parked 1992 Honda Civic on Meander Way was hit by a passing vehicle, a dark blue 1998 or 1999 Mazda, which left the scene. The impact caused the Civic to roll into a third vehicle.
At 11 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report of a bear on Lemon Creek Road.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday, police cited a man, 24, in the Capital Motors parking lot, for driving without a license. They released the man. His vehicle was impounded for safekeeping.
