Holiday Cup indoor soccer tournament: Tournament opened Thursday, Dec. 21 and continues through Dec. 31. Games played at both Dzantik'i Heeni and Floyd Dryden middle schools. Championship games on Dec. 31, elementary at 10:30 a.m., middle school at 11:45 a.m., juniors at 1 p.m. and seniors at 2:15 p.m., all championship games at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School. Mighty Mite youth ski team registration: Registration is open for this winter's Mighty Mite ski team program for skiers ages 6-12 years old. The lessons at Eaglecrest Ski School focus on skier technique and introduce the children to racing. The 10-week program features Saturday lessons from 9:30 a.m. until noon starting on Jan. 8, and includes four optional race days. The cost is $105 for the lessons, plus $25 for a United States Ski Association membership and $20 per family for Juneau Ski Club membership. Juneau Parks and Recreation youth indoor soccer: Coaches are needed for the 2001 Youth Indoor Soccer League, which begins in early January and continues through mid-March. Each team receives three preseason practices, plus one practice and one Saturday game each week during the season. Game and practice schedules vary depending on the division. Coaching opportunities are available in nearly every division, age 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15 and 16-17.
