The Juneau Nordic Ski Club reported on its Web site, www.home.gci.net/~jnordski/, that the Mendenhall Campground was groomed on Christmas night for classic and skating.

Parking on Skater's Cabin Road is allowed only on the west side beginning with the intersection of the entrance road to Mendenhall Campground all the way to the West Glacier Trailhead Parking Lot. This is to allow emergency vehicle access, relieve congestion, and funnel people to park in both the Skater's Cabin and West Glacier Trailhead parking lots.

Recent information was not available for other areas.
