The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Rush sits tied up Thursday at the Coast Guard Dock. The ship, which is based in Honolulu, is tentatively scheduled to depart Juneau today. The ship was launched in 1968 and has a long history of service, from combat operations during the Vietnam war to enforcing fishing laws and intercepting illegal drug shipments. There were no open-house tours during the ship's brief visit, as it picked up supplies before continuing its voyage.
