According to shop owner and operator Sheryl Sutton, the rent on Seward Street has continued to grow with the tourist trade, making it impossible for it to stay at the same location. Sutton, who has run the shop for the last 25 years, will again team up with her sister, Deb McGehee, of the Alaskan Barbershop.

"It is sad to leave Seward Street after so many years," Sutton said. "But the same great standard of haircare service Juneau has enjoyed for 70 years will remain coninuous."

The business name and phone number, 586-3164, also will stay the same.
