Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
A 2003 Honda driven by a woman, 37, reportedly struck a parked 1993 Toyota truck at 1:25 p.m. Monday in the 4800 block of Glacier Highway in the Twin Lakes area. Damage to the Honda was estimated at $1,000. No damage estimate was available for the Toyota.
Police cited a man, 23, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 3:08 p.m. Monday on Egan Drive near Yandukin Drive. The 2005 Dodge Neon she was driving reportedly was totaled when it struck a 2004 Ford truck driven by a man, 31. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $1,000.
At 10:55 p.m. Monday, a city bus struck a house in the 1400 block of Glacier Highway just outside of the downtown area. It was turning around because of a road closure in an area where Capital City Fire and Rescue crews were fighting a house fire. Damage was estimated at $200 to the house and $50 to the bus. No injuries were reported.
At 10:24 a.m. Tuesday, a woman, 20, reported her 2003 Volkswagen Golf went off outbound Egan Drive in the Sunny Point area. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
