Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


Police received at 4:15 p.m. Friday from Salmon Creek Lane the report of the theft of $240.

A woman reported at 1:45 p.m. Friday from Delta Drive the theft of a Nokia 6161 cell phone from her home.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Police received a report at 5:50 p.m. Friday from Dudley Street of a mail box that had been burned.

Vehicle accidents:

Five young children were treated at Bartlett Regional Hospital and released after a vehicle crash between a 1998 truck driven by a man, 41, and a 1998 Mercury driven by a man, 34, about 11 a.m. Friday on Glacier Highway. The father of children ages 1 to 9 took them to the hospital.


A man, 39, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Friday on South Franklin Street for disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
