Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 35-year-old Corey Vance Johnston on a charge of drunken driving at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Douglas Highway. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police cited a 49-year-old man on a disorderly conduct charge at 11:28 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street downtown.

• Police cited a 48-year-old man on a disorderly conduct charge at 11:29 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street.


• About 60 gallons of heating oil was reported stolen at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road near the airport.


• A bear-proof garbage container was reported stolen at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Beach Drive in the Douglas area.

• A pair of sunglasses valued at $180 was reported stolen at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday from an unlocked vehicle in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.

• Artwork was reported stolen at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday from the 8100 block of Threadneedle Street in the valley.

• A purple corduroy and cotton twill purse holding a pink wallet containing $33 was reported stolen at 8:52 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of West Willoughby Avenue downtown.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a 42-year-old woman on a charge of failing to yield while making a left turn after a two-vehicle accident at 8:01 a.m. Thursday that sent a 28-year-old woman to Bartlett Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The older woman, driving a 2003 Dodge pickup, was attempting to make a left turn from Riverside Drive onto Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley when the vehicle reportedly struck a 1997 Ford Escort driven by the younger woman. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Dodge, and the Ford was considered totaled.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday on inbound Egan Drive in the Twin Lakes area after citing the driver, a 39-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.

• Police impounded a vehicle at 1:52 a.m. Thursday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
