Police arrested 35-year-old Corey Vance Johnston on a charge of drunken driving at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Douglas Highway. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police cited a 49-year-old man on a disorderly conduct charge at 11:28 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street downtown.

A pair of sunglasses valued at $180 was reported stolen at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday from an unlocked vehicle in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.
Artwork was reported stolen at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday from the 8100 block of Threadneedle Street in the valley.
A purple corduroy and cotton twill purse holding a pink wallet containing $33 was reported stolen at 8:52 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of West Willoughby Avenue downtown.
Police cited a 42-year-old woman on a charge of failing to yield while making a left turn after a two-vehicle accident at 8:01 a.m. Thursday that sent a 28-year-old woman to Bartlett Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The older woman, driving a 2003 Dodge pickup, was attempting to make a left turn from Riverside Drive onto Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley when the vehicle reportedly struck a 1997 Ford Escort driven by the younger woman. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Dodge, and the Ford was considered totaled.
Police impounded a vehicle at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday on inbound Egan Drive in the Twin Lakes area after citing the driver, a 39-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.
