This is in regards to Douglas Grimm's ill-conceived and factually incorrect My Turn printed in Thursday's Juneau Empire.

When will those who fail to educate themselves on such matters learn that homosexuality is not a choice? How many times must they be told this before it sticks in their tiny bigoted minds? How many times must they be told that living this life is how we were born? Why would one choose to be berated and spit upon by hateful people?
And as for Grimm's attempt to legislate morality, I won't go into the details of the separation of church and state. How one reconciles legislating hate with good Christian behavior is something I will never understand.
Finally, when people of piety such as Grimm ask me what I think about my "immoral behavior," I'll tell them, "I think God put homosexuals on this Earth to test others, and Grimm is failing miserably."
