Driving without a license:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 6 p.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old woman was cited for driving without a license on Glacier Highway. The vehicle was impounded.

Drunken driving:

• At about 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Andrew James Moritz, 43, was arrested and charged with drunken driving on Mendenhall Loop Road. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Lost property:

• At about 1 p.m. Saturday, a 47-year-old man reported that a wallet containing two gift cards and other miscellaneous items was lost in the 100 block of Front Street.


• At about 10:10 a.m. Sunday, a 39-year-old man reported the theft of an unknown amount of fuel in the 500 block of Fifth Street.

Traffic accidents:

• At about 6:45 a.m. Sunday, a 52-year-old woman driving a Subaru was involved in a single-car accident on Thane Road. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $10,000.

• At about 10:15 a.m. Sunday, a 42-year-old man collided with a median and retaining wall on Egan Drive. A damage estimate was unavailable. The driver was issued a verbal warning for speeding.

• At about 11:25 a.m. Sunday, a 61-year-old man driving a Chevrolet collided with a 55-year-old man driving another Chevrolet on Auke Lake Highway. Damage to the first vehicle was unknown. Damage to the second vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
