I moved to Juneau in 1972, when I was only 19 years old, and fell in love with the mountains, ocean, and the people. Since then I have done everything I can to play outdoors - hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, alpine skiing, road and mountain biking, and even a little bit of ice and rock climbing. My husband and I owned and managed a small business downtown, Foggy Mountain Shop, which opened in 1974. We sold the business to two of our employees at the end of January 2014.
