Smith, Heimbuch wed



Brianne Smith and Cory Heimbuch were married March 26, 2011 at Grace Community Covenant Church in Olympia, Wash.

The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Darren Smith of Olympia. She graduated from North Thurston High School in Olympia and attended Asuza Pacific University in Asuza, Calif. She is employed at Juneau Youth Services.

The groom is the son of Jerry and Carol Heimbuch of Boise, Idaho. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High school and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, Calif. He is employed at the Port of Juneau.

Attending the bride were Cassie Smith, Rachel Couleur, Melissa Weldon and Karen Hong. Mark Heimbuch, John Heimbuch, Jake Newell and Ariel Prendergast attended the groom. Mikayla Heimbuch, the groom’s niece, served as flower girl; Tinaya Harris, the bride’s cousin, and Micah Heimbuch, the groom’s nephew, served as candlelighters. Rev. Randy Thyberg officiated.

A reception was held at The Heritage Room in Olympia, and the couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A reception is planned May 14 in Juneau for local family and friends.

The couple will make its home in Juneau.
