Juneau’s Sylvia and Richard “Dick” Deems celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday.
Last November, the couple, along with their children and grandchildren, celebrated the upcoming occasion in Hawaii. Sylvia and Dick are the parents of Curtis (Helen) Deems of Woodinville, Wash. and Theresa Deems-Mores of Juneau. They also have five grandchildren: Tyler, Dylan, Chad Kasey and Sydney.
