Sharon Chilton and Shawn Beaird married July 12, 2011, at the location of the first landslide on Thane Road.
The bride graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended South Seattle Community College. She is employed at Priority Home Health Care.
The groom graduated from Skyview High School in Soldotna and attended Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kan. He is employed by World Wide Movers.

The couple will live in Juneau.
