Byars celebrate 50 years together

Byarses celebrate 50 years together

Robert and Velva Byars married Aug. 26, 1961, in Mims, Fla. In 1975 they, along with their son James, moved to Alaska, living in Juneau and Anchorage before returning to Juneau. After retiring they moved to Sitka where they live on their boat and call home.
