Mooney, Whiteley wed


Stephanie Mooney and Sean Whiteley married June 4, 2011, at the Shrine of St. Therese.

The bride is the daughter of J and Elaine Mooney of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High school and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast. She works at the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration as a purchasing agent.

The groom is the son of the late George Whiteley Sr. and Linda Whiteley of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School, and is currently employed as a meat cutter at Costco Wholesale.

Dana Whiteley served as maid of honor, while Shayla Sulser and Kristina Abbott were bridesmaids. Ben Olson stood as best man, as Tom Whiteley and Shane Walker served as groomsmen. Tayten Whiteley bore the rings and Pat Travers officiated. A reception followed at the Buoy Deck at Coast Guard Station Juneau.

The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.
