Siirila, Hill wed
Jamie Siirila and Royal Hill married Aug. 2, 2011, at Northern Light United Church.
The bride is the daughter of Jolene Siirila and Wilbur James Jr. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Alaska Southeast. She is currently employed with the Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska.
The groom is the son of Laura Williams and Royal Hill Sr. He attended Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kan. He is currently employed with the Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska.
Chelsie Young served as maid of honor. LaNora Aldridge, Alexandria Brown and Shauna Schaefer were bridesmaids. Tauno Hill stood as best man. John Dybahl, Shaun Guthrie and Alessandro Hill Jr. served as groomsmen.
Alexandria Siirila and Krystalynn Hill, the daughter of the bride, served as flower girls. Zane Hill, the groom’s son, bore the rings. Phil Campbell officiated.
A reception followed at the Tlingit & Haida Community Council building.
The couple will make its home in Juneau.
