Simpson, Froehlich wed
Annie Elizabeth Simpson and Kaleb Demeksa Froehlich wed Sept. 17, 2011, at the Harvard Memorial Church in Cambridge, Mass. with a reception at the Omni Parker House.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy Kuziemski and Scott Simpson of Carlisle, Mass. She graduated from Concord Carlisle High School and attended Stanford University and the University of Virginia School of Law. She is employed with Latham & Watkins in Washington, D.C.
The groom is the son of Elsa Demeksa and Peter Froehlich of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Southern California and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is employed with the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
The wedding was officiated by Rev. Preston Hannibal of the Washington National Cathedral. The maid of honor was Shelley McCormick, with bridesmaids Erin McCormick, Kate Stanley, Hillary Shaw, Emily Shields, Emily Johnson, Sarah Townsend, and Kelly Shouey. The flower girl was Yasmina Yarnell, the groom’s cousin. Ephraim Froehlich, the groom’s brother, was the best man, with groomsmen Jeremy Gleason, Aaron Ver, Robert Cowan, Azar Koulibaly, Brook Bulcha, David Simpson, and Daniel Suvor.
The pair will live in Washington, D.C.
