Swansons celebrate 30 years

Geri and Bill Swanson celebrated their 30th anniversary Nov. 17.

The couple married in 1981 in Rantoul, Ill. where she attended the Air Force Technical School. During their 30 years of marriage, they have lived on all three coasts of the U.S. and abroad for tours of duty in Germany and South Korea. While at Eielson Air Force Base, the couple fell in love with Alaska, where they finally retired. They have made their home in Juneau with their two dogs since May 2011.
